Unmatched Doggie Daycare Services in Maplewood, NJ
At Preferred Pet Care, Inc., we know how important it is for your furry family member to stay active, socialized, and loved—especially during the day when you’re away. That’s why our doggie daycare services in Maplewood, NJ, offer the perfect home away from home, where dogs can safely play, exercise, and receive attentive care from experienced staff.
What Is Doggie Daycare?
Doggie daycare is more than just a place to stay—it’s an enriching, social environment where dogs get to frolic with friends, burn off energy through play and exercise, and enjoy personalized attention. After a fun-filled day, your dog heads home to a restful evening, happy and content.
Getting Started: Trial Day
To enroll, the first step is to schedule a Trial Day by appointment only. We offer only one trial per day to ensure each dog receives a thorough and personalized evaluation. During this trial, we assess your dog’s social skills and temperament. Dogs that thrive in our environment are welcomed back, while aggressive dogs are not accepted to keep our community safe.
Health Records
To maintain the health and safety of all fur babies at our dog boarding facility, we require up-to-date vaccinations before admission, including:
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Rabies
Parvovirus
Distemper
Canine Influenza*
*Dogs receiving the canine influenza vaccine for the first year must have both boosters. After the second booster, there is a one-week waiting period before admission.
While the Corona vaccine is recommended, it is not mandatory.
Please do not apply topical flea or tick treatments within 24 hours of arrival. Preferred Pet Care, Inc. must receive copies of all required current health records prior to your dog’s stay. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that veterinary hospitals send these documents to us.
